eBay Title Block

Introduction

The eBay Title Block lets you display the title of your eBay listing directly in your template. This is important because the title is the first thing buyers see—it tells them exactly what your item is. A clear and descriptive title helps make your template look professional and increases buyer confidence.

1. Adding the Block

  1. Open the Components Panel on the right side of the editor.
  2. Drag and drop the eBay Title Block into a column inside your section.

Tip: Always place blocks inside a column first. Columns control layout and alignment, so your title will stay properly positioned on all devices.

2. Understanding the Placeholder

When you add the block, you will see the default text:

“Your eBay listing title automatically populates here”

This text is not editable—it’s just a placeholder. Once you apply the template to your actual eBay listing, this placeholder will automatically be replaced with your listing’s real title.

3. Customizing the Appearance

Even though the text itself can’t be edited, you can still style it to match your template:

  1. Click on the title block to open its settings panel.
  2. You can adjust:
    • Font family – choose a style that matches your template.
    • Font size – make it big for emphasis or smaller for subtle headings.
    • Color – match your template’s color theme.
    • Alignment – left, center, or right depending on your design.

The goal is to make your title clear, readable, and visually appealing once it populates from eBay.

4. Best Practices

  • Keep your listing titles short but descriptive in eBay—this makes them easier to read in your template.
  • Avoid all caps—it’s harder to read.
  • Combine with eBay Image Block or Price Block for a complete listing header.
