Introduction to the Editor

Overview

The editor is a drag-and-drop page builder that allows you to create custom layouts, design blocks, and content for your website or eBay listings. You don’t need to know coding to get started—everything is visual and interactive.

At its core, the editor consists of:

  • Canvas – the main workspace where your page or template appears.
  • Blocks Panel – contains prebuilt blocks (Text, Images, Buttons, eBay blocks, etc.) that you can drag into the canvas.
  • Sidebar – provides access to Style Manager, Components, and block settings.
  • Top Toolbar & Panels – includes save, exit, undo/redo, and other commands.

Key Features

  1. Drag & Drop Builder
    • Add blocks to the canvas by simply dragging them from the block panel.
    • Rearrange blocks easily by dragging them around.
  2. Inline Editing
    • Click on text, headings, or other editable components to change the content directly in the canvas.
  3. Responsive Design
    • The editor supports responsive layouts with row and column blocks, allowing your content to adapt to mobile, tablet, and desktop.
  4. Custom Styling
    • Access the Style Manager to modify fonts, colors, padding, margins, and more.
  5. eBay Integration
    • Special blocks like eBay Title, Description, and Product Images make it easy to create optimized listings without manual copy-pasting.
  6. Asset Management
    • Upload and manage images through the built-in Asset Manager. Supports drag-and-drop uploads and external image URLs.

Getting Started Workflow

  2. Select a block from the sidebar (Text, Button, Image, etc.).
  3. Drag the block onto the canvas where you want it to appear.
